Origins
Ken
Brady Construction Company, Inc. was founded by Ken and Dorothy
Brady in 1954 and incorporated in the Territory of Alaska in 1957.
From modest beginnings, the company has grown to be one of the largest
Alaska based corporations with a distinguished record of successfully
completing complex building projects throughout the State. The Company
is well into its’ second generation of Brady management and
continues to follow the principles which led to its success.

The company operates from two principal offices: 4001 Turnagain
Boulevard, Anchorage, and 8490 Mukilteo Speedway, Seattle. The Anchorage
facility includes four thousand square feet of office space, CAD
systems, drafting, plotting and reproduction equipment; two and
one half acres of equipment and material storage areas; a fully
equipped maintenance shop; as well as radio, telephone, facsimile
and computer facilities to aid in the administration of its projects.
The Seattle
office is principally a procurement office with the added functions
of reviewing shop drawings, estimating, and expediting material
purchases and transport.
Experience
The
company has extensive experience in design-build and team-build
projects as well as traditional public works projects. A significant
number of the company's projects have been awarded through negotiation,
or bid on an invited basis where the company's reputation for quality,
attention to schedule, and reasonable cost is of major importance.
Ken Brady Construction Company's key personnel are all Alaska residents
and are completely familiar with the special circumstances of Alaska
construction. The company’s primary geographic focus is the
major metropolitan areas throughout the state. The Company has successfully
completed over 500 Million dollars in projects since inception.
