C. Oien
President / CEO
Mr. Oien serves
as the president/CEO of Oien Associates, Inc. (OAI),
provided civil and structural design, inspection services and construction
management services throughout the State of Alaska and the Northwestern
United States. After graduating with a BS in Civil and Environmental
Engineering in 1985 from Utah State University, Mr. Oien worked
in various field and office management positions before starting
OAI in 1996. Mr Oien worked as quality control engineer, superintendent,
estimator, project manager and Vice President for KHO Construction
until 1991. Mr. Oien worked at UIC Construction as a project manager
for projects ranging to $15 million. Subsequent to UIC Construction,
Mr. Oien was the onsite project manager for Osborne Construction,
running a $18 million housing renovation for the Department of the
Army. Since its’ inception in 1996, OAI has
provided professional engineering and management services throughout
Alaska since that time, and has many ongoing clients.
