Estimations,
Inc. is an Alaskan Small Business Corporation formed in
1993 to provide construction management support services to the
design community of Alaska.
The cost of
project development and construction is the principal expertise
of Estimations. They provide conceptual and budget estimates as
well as detailed final estimates, which may be directly compared
to a contractor's bid. While the final estimate is usually given
the most attention since it is compared to the bid results, it is
in the early stages of a project’s development where our experience
and expertise is most important to the project. Early accurate cost
models of your project lead to the best use of project funds. Additional
services include Life Cycle Costing, Project Analysis Reports, Critical
Path Scheduling (CPM), Condition and Inventory Survey Support.
Estimates require
quantifying the scope of the project and pricing the elements as
accurately as possible. Pricing is done utilizing current pricing
of materials, labor and contractor markups where possible. In addition,
they utilize historic data for comparative pricing and quality control
benchmarks in the estimating of their projects.
The staff of
Estimations has an extensive knowledge of the construction in Alaska.
Each of their Senior Cost Estimators have more than 15 years of
experience cost estimating construction costs in Alaska. They supplement
their experience by tracking trends in the industry and interviewing
contractors, as well as establishing and maintaining vendor contacts.
